Associate Doctor, Washington, MD

Dr. Dylan Hintenach is driven by a deep-seated commitment to patient well-being, dedicating hundreds of hours to advanced clinical training to ensure his patients receive the most effective care available today. As a licensed chiropractor with physical therapy privileges in Maryland and Virginia, Dr. Dylan believes that every individual deserves a precise assessment—a conviction born from his own personal health journey.
His path to chiropractic began after a soccer injury sidelined him for eight months. After months of frustration, a chiropractor identified the true source of his pain—a muscle group far higher than the site of his symptoms—and provided 90% relief in a single visit. This experience, coupled with a previous surgery that likely could have been avoided with conservative care, sparked his mission: to provide the same “miracle” outcomes for his patients by looking beyond the symptoms to find the root cause.
To deliver this high standard of care, Dr. Dylan has completed over 400 hours of post-graduate education. He is certified in Active Release Technique (Upper Body, Lower Body, Spine, and Nerve) and Dry Needling (Myopain DN-1), with additional specialized training in the McKenzie Method (Parts A and B). Furthermore, he spent over 150 hours refining his manual skills through the Motion Palpation Institute, where he developed an elite level of precision in joint manipulation.
Dr. Dylan’s academic background is equally rigorous. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Chester University with degrees in Exercise Science and Psychology, providing him with a unique understanding of both the physical and mental aspects of recovery. He earned his Doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida, where he served as President of the Motion Palpation Club, mentoring fellow students in the art of palpation and adjusting.
Deeply inspired by his community, Dr. Dylan views every appointment as an opportunity to make the world a better place, one person at a time. Outside of the clinic, he stays sharp and active through distance running, chess, and strategic board games. While he takes his studies seriously as an avid reader of nonfiction, he most values the time he spends with his friends and family, reminding him that while knowledge is power, a good laugh is often the best medicine.
