Stretching has more health benefits than you think.

Loosening stiff muscles feels great on the body, but did you know it also gives your mood a boost!

Tight muscles make us feel lethargic and tense. By loosening up physically, we actually wake up mentally as well.

How?

Stretching improves circulation and increases blood flow to the muscles and the brain. So while it allows the muscles to relax by releasing tension, it also elevates mood, reduces stress and anxiety, and helps us focus! #HealthyHappy

Energy Alert!

Stretching also releases endorphins so we get a boost of energy and optimism.

Feeling tired

Take 5 minutes to stretch!

Going through these simple stretches will rejuvenate your mind and body. Try holding each position for 20-30 seconds. You should feel a nice gentle stretch – stop if you feel any pain.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” full_screen_row_position=”middle” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″ shape_divider_position=”bottom”][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ column_shadow=”none” column_border_radius=”none” width=”1/1″ tablet_text_alignment=”default” phone_text_alignment=”default” column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid”][image_with_animation image_url=”11142″ alignment=”center” animation=”Fade In” img_link_large=”yes” border_radius=”none” box_shadow=”none” max_width=”100%”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” full_screen_row_position=”middle” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″ shape_divider_position=”bottom”][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ column_shadow=”none” column_border_radius=”none” width=”1/1″ tablet_text_alignment=”default” phone_text_alignment=”default” column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid”][divider line_type=”No Line”][vc_column_text]These upper body stretches hit all of the muscle groups that typically hold tension – neck, shoulders, chest, rhomboids, triceps, lats, obliques.
