The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) has recognized health care professionals who give superior care to the approximately 30 million Americans suffering from back pain. Sport and Spine Rehab is the only multi-location practice to receive recognition and status of “early adopter.”

Drs, Sarah Day, Riccardo Tersigni, Joseph DelRosso, Christopher Steacy, Martin Donnelly and Allen Huffman all received recognition through this program.

Our doctors were evaluated under the program using 16 pieces of evidence-based criteria. These include: thorough patient assessment, recommendations for appropriate physical activity, avoiding unnecessary imaging, patient education and shared decision-making with the patient about surgery and alternatives to surgery, tracking and analyzing surgical outcomes, and surveying patients about their experience.

NCQA is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to improving health care quality, NCQA accredits and certified a wide range of health care organizations, recognizes physicians, physician groups and other health care providers in key clinical areas.

Sport and Spine Rehab is proud to be part of this groundbreaking program!
