When I opened my first practice in Rockville eighteen years ago my goal was to make a difference in my community, and really help others attain health and well being. I immediately loved and respected my profession because it positively impacted so many lives. Further, the concept of health and wellness through natural, effective methods made so much sense to me. Today, the passion for helping others is omnipotent at Sport and Spine Rehab, and fuels an inner fire in every SSR employee which, in turn, continues to build a celebrated company with unmatched achievements and honors.
In 2007, we were the first multi-location practice in the entire United States that was recognized by the National Committee on Quality Assurance in their Back Pain Recognition Program. In 2009, we were awarded ?America?s Best-Loved Practice? by Drscore.com for holding the top one-through-seven positions for patient satisfaction in their database of over 80,000 providers across the US.
Now, in 2011, I am proud to announce that Sport and Spine Rehab has been named to Inc. magazine?s Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private companies in America.? That is an honor that has been previously enjoyed by companies like Oracle, Microsoft, Under Armour, and Jiffy Lube.? Although I don?t think my goal back in those early days was to build Microsoft, it is amazing to think that Sport and Spine Rehab is sharing a similar path with such respected and successful organizations.
Sport and Spine Rehab?s Mission is to Facilitate and Maximize the? Health and Well-being for the Public, one life at a time, and this honor confirms we have touched many, many lives and will continue to touch many more as we grow to greater heights.? To be very clear, the only reason these awards and honors have been bestowed on us is because of our amazing SSR family. Every single person in our company striving for perfection (can you say Six Sigma?) in everything we do is the essence of our being.? And, when we don?t always reach perfection, we learn so we can do better the next time. I?m so proud and fortunate to work with such an amazing group of individuals who truly breathe our values and live our mission.
